PIG & DAN HEAD DOWNTEMPO

Techno duo Pig&Dan have recorded a new album entitled ‘Destination Unknown’, featuring the musicians and singers who’ve inspired them throughout their career.

A departure from the techno they’ve produced for Cocoon and their own Elevate imprint, this album breaks boundaries and fuses together genres and styles far beyond electronic music’s own increasingly broad spectrum.

THE HOT SEAT - JOHN DIGWEED

John Digweed is an enigma. He began DJing at the age of 15 and started putting on parties in his home town of Hastings on the south coast of England. He put on acts like Carl Cox and The Prodigy on Hastings Pier, and then in the early '90s he teamed up with Sasha for Renaissance and began one of the most important double-acts in dance.

CAN YOU DIG IT?

John Digweed was DJing long before the acronym “EDM” existed, let alone went mainstream and became the musical backdrop of Generation Now. In fact, back in 1982, the young aspiring teen from the South Coast of England was spinning records before he had even blown out the candles at his Sweet Sixteen.
