Loco Dice: Used + Abused

It's long been speculated that Loco Dice would make a move to his own night in the same vein as Marco Carola and Richie Hawtin before him. Indeed, the only real surprise here is that it's taken so long. Ushuaia's grand ol' stage is exactly the sort of playing field Dice is sure to revel in, and with Desolat mainstays à la Guti, tINI and Martin Buttrich joining him, his timing for such a move has arguably never been better. Seeing what he has up his sleeve should make for a most intriguing experience.

Viva Warriors

One of only three nights to return to Sankeys this summer is Steve Lawler's VIVa Warriors. They've moved from Wednesday to Sunday this time, though, with Steve, it would seem, finally waving goodbye to the Sunday slot elsewhere that served him so well over the years. Lawler is the prime draw as always at this workers' favourite, with label mainstays à la Darius Syrossian and Detlef sure to play just as pertinent roles.

Kehakuma

There's simply no doubting that the island's most ubiquitous current soundtrack is one that moves around an underground palette. As such, the constantly evolving Kehakuma returns for a third successive summer, having shrewdly lined up a number of house and techno artists that aren't typically seen on the White Isle. Loyal fans of avant-garde house music will note the appearance of three such artists on the 27th July, with Steffi, Fred P and Levon Vincent taking over on the night in question.
