BRIGHTON TIME!

Dance music is now a multi-million-pound industry, and like with other multi-million-pound industries it needs conferences and trade fairs in order to keep the wheels turning. BMC in Brighton grew out of this tradition. With the Miami Winter Music Conference (WMC) — or Miami Music Week, as it's now just as commonly known — now more like a series of events than a conference, global attention has shifted to the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE). IN EAR PROTECTORS

In light of the recent news about Lil Louis DJ Mag thought it would be a good opportunity to touch base with the DJ community about the importance of protecting their major assets: their ears. Together, the duo are Tuxedo, a new funk project that’s been in the works for over five years, with the duo finally releasing their first self-titled LP, ‘Tuxedo’ this March.

TAKING STOCKHOLM

Swedish people are cool. It’s no secret that the Swedes have a certain “je ne sais quoi”, a magic that’s spawned everything from furniture empire Ikea to cult clothing label ACNE, and even Drumcode founder, Adam Beyer, topped off by a famously blessed gene pool and some of Europe’s most breathtaking scenery.
