S'EXPRESS: GAME CHANGER

Mark Moore grew up in London and got into music at a young age. After his mother, who uprooted from South Korea after the Korean War, divorced his father, he spent some time in care before becoming a punk rocker.

He started collecting records, fell in with the Blitz crowd — the iconic New Romantic club run by Rusty Egan and the late Steve Strange — and then started DJing himself in 1983 at the Mud Club, run by notorious club-land entrepreneur Philip Salon, in Leicester Square.

FREE CUBISM PARTY IN LONDON THIS FRIDAY

Respected house/techno label Cubism is taking over recently opened 100-capacity venue, Work, featuring top UK talent Saytek (live), Copy Paste Soul and Barber this Friday. And it's free!

Cubism, a platform for top quality underground music, supported by DJs such as Steve Lawler and Yousef, has rocked venues all over, including London's Fabric. 

LOVEBOX SET TO IGNITE VICTORIA PARK THIS WEEKEND

London festival institution,Lovebox returns to Victoria Park this weekend (Fri 17th-Sat 18th July 2015).

Friday is headlined by Hackney locals Rudimental, while Snoop Dogg returns to East London to headline on Saturday night.

ALY & FILA, MARKUS SCHULZ & W&W ANNOUNCED FOR 100 DJS LONDON

An overwhelming amount of support has seen an army of fans register to be a part of the UK’s only Top 100 DJs party at the spectacular 02 Brixton Academy.

After last year’s event selling out weeks in advance, electronic music fans from far and wide have pledged their commitment to the biggest indoor showcase of dance music to ensure they are a part of this massive event.

NEW CLUB PHONOX OPENING IN LONDON

In the face of a string of recent club closures in the UK capital, a new club called Phonox will open in Brixton this September.

Opening as a bar from 6pm and running into the later hours, the club, previously Plan B, promises a dancefloor, a single soundsystem, and one DJ all night long.

RHYTHMATIC GO TO WORK THIS WEEKEND

Established and well-respected techno night Rhythmatic stop at new club ‘Work London’ this Saturday, as part of their international tour.

Rhythmatic is one of London's go-to events for house and techno’s rising stars, hosting talent such as Marco Carola, Carl Cox, Matthias Tanzmann and The Martinez Brothers over the years.

WORK.LONDON OPENING THIS WEEKEND

In light of recent London club closures, such as Crucifix lane and Vibe bar, a hidden new gem called Work.London has popped up in Chapel Market (Angel).

Launching this weekend, this 110-capacity venue — with a slick cocktail bar upstairs and a classy basement downstairs — is to host top London promotions, DJ live streams and super exclusive industry parties with high profile dance talent on Thursday, Fridays and Saturdays.
