NOIR: A DARK HORSE

Rene Kristensen aka Noir has a reputation for being incredibly chilled out, and he's not entirely sure why. But it could have something to do with coming from the “nice and quiet” Aalborg in Denmark, his hometown, that he still resides in.

LEFTWING & KODY LIVE AT DJ MAG SESSIONS

DJ Mag Sessions at Ministry of Sound returns with Noir, Uner, Franck Roger, ZDS and Bodyjack on Saturday 5th July and £10 tickets are still available!

The launch with Riva Starr, Kevin Saunderson, Leftwing & Kody and Dale Howard in The Box was a massive success, so we'll be posting their sets during the lead up to the event.

HALF PRICE TICKETS FOR DJ MAG SESSIONS

Once again we're offering reduced price tickets to DJ Mag readers for Sessions at Ministry of Sound.

Noir (Defected/Noir Music), Uner (Diynamic) and Franck Roger (Real Tone/2020 Vision) will do the honours in The Box, while Zombie Disco Squad, Bodyjack and more TBA will take on the the 103 on Saturday 5th July.

DJ MAG SESSIONS RETURNS

The launch of DJ Mag Sessions at Ministry of Sound went off a storm.

Following a sunny day of BBQs and FA Cup Final antics, Riva Starr rocked The Box, while Kevin Saunderson with an unannounced appearance from his son Dantiez, Leftwing & Kody and Dale Howard brought also some of the finest house we've ever heard, on probably the world's sweetest soundsystem.

DJ WEEKLY PODCAST

Butch

Butch by name, knowingly camp by nature (at least in his press shots), the German producer christened Bülent Gürler is best known for his 2010 First Choice sampling hit 'No Worries' but has had releases for the likes of Trapez, Noir and Rekids, showing the value placed on his floor-filling, and often quirky, house.

LISTEN TO NOIR'S ESSENTIAL MIX

Last night, Noir took to the Essential Mix decks for an exclusive two hour mix. The Danish DJ, producer and owner of the Noir Music imprint has helped to push real house music back into the mainstream consciousness over the last couple of years. This is the first time he has recorded an essential mix.
