A few weeks ago, Zed Bias released “Shizam”, a monster of a single featuring burgeoning rappers Stylo G and Scrufizzer and a wicked cool animation video to go with it. Now the remixes have begun pouring in, the first one comes from forward thinking grime tech producer Mushy. He takes a dark and evocative approach to the track, combining shuffling industrial techno percussion with tough minimal bass lines, along with new bars from Stylo G and Scrufizzer. It’s the kind of tune I imagine setting off a party at 3 AM in a crazed dive bar filled with gabber enthusiasts dancing manically in crocodile and penguin costumes.
