Watch Point Blank’s Lead Course Developer do some ‘creative recycling’
Point Blank’s Lead Course Developer Ski Oakenfull knows Ableton Live like the back of his hand, and he’s also an avid record collector and all round music nerd. That’s why for their brand new video episode Shop ‘n’ Chop, Point Blank asked Ski to head to Vinyl Pimp in Hackney, east London.
They then challenged him with the task of buying some choice vinyl cuts and making a track entirely from hand-picked samples from his haul. Luckily for you guys, they filmed the whole thing for you to watch below and see what Ski was able to come up with.
If you want to know Ableton Live as well as Ski Oakenfull does, Point Blank’s online Diploma course covers everything you need to take your productions to the next level. With modules on composition, mixing, sound design and more, it’s a comprehensive, creative and collaborative course which can be taken for up to 64 weeks!
