fabric have announced details of a new, 24+ hour techno event series.
Having recently announced a 39-hour party to celebrate its 22nd birthday this year, the much-loved London club has unveiled the new party series, Continuum, for 2021-22.
Launching across 20th to 22nd November with Rebekah, Blawan, Dave Clarke, and more, the techno series promises consequtive 24+ hours of uninterrupted music per event. It continues with RPR & Friends from 11th to 13th December with Batu, Voigt.Mas, Sugar Free and more. Further events for 2022 are to be announced.
Tickets for the first two events are available here and here.
“Back in the day fabric used to do [24-hour parties] and the idea now is to bring it back in, to be able to cater for completely different crowds," said fabric's Creative Director Jorge Neito.
"It presents a lot of opportunities that you wouldn’t have on a regular night. It gives the opportunity to bring up-and-coming or mid-range artists and put them in-between heavyweight acts so they get the exposure they wouldn't get on a normal night. I think that’s one of the most interesting things about doing 24-hour events.”
To mark the announcement, the club have shared a video featuring interviews with the programming team discussing its return to extended parties. Watch it below.
Earlier this year, fabric introduced a "strict" no-photo and no-video policy. Announcing the news via social media, a post shared by the club said: "fabric is London's home for underground music, always aiming to create a feeling of self-expression on the dance-floor. We are introducing a strict no photo, and no video policy at the club. Stay in the moment and put away your phone, enjoy the night."
