Fyre Festival documentary to hit Netflix in January: Watch

An inside look in the historic failure of the festival that never happened...

A Fyre Festival documentary will be released on Netflix on 18th January, aiming to give the inside look into the historic failure of a festival that never happened.

A 20-second trailer for ‘Fyre’ shows some of the footage in the film, comparing the supposed idyllic vision the organisers sold to punters and the disturbing reality of shoddy organisation and large-scale incompetence.

The catastrophic luxury festival, that has become a running, haunting joke in the electronic music world, left organiser Billy McFarland in jail.

The film is directed by Chris Smith, who made ‘Jim & Andy: The Great Beyond’, and produced by Vice Studios, Library Films and Jerry Media.
