Mani Festo has launched his own record label, Flightpaths, with a four-track record, available from today (24th September).
The 'Higher EP' has its origins in the summer of 2020, when the producer made the title track as an ode to long-lost raves at a time when they were not able to take place due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The record's four tracks find Mani Festo drawing on the soaring tempos, breakbeats and rave pianos of previous releases. The label itself, he says, is "a culmination of everything I have done and learned in the last 15 years of my creative journey. I've taken all the skills and inspiration acquired and applied them to this project, it's been years in the making and feels like a huge milestone to finally be setting it free into the world!"
'Higher EP' is available as a Bandcamp exclusive from today, with a wider release following on 1st October.
