An astronaut has performed the first DJ set in space, breaking through the limits of earthly clubbing to set a new record (and then some).
Luca Parmitano is based on the International Space Station and was inspired to attempt this feat due to his belief that music is one of two global languages, alongside maths. This groundbreaking moment combines both, with the cosmic professional playing tracks on a tablet while suspended in zero-gravity.
Quite the achievement, it follows on from Paul Oakenfold becoming the first player to spin from Mt. Everest's Base Camp and the Stonehenge UNESCO World Heritage site. Last year DJ Mag attended a rave in the world's deepest diving pool.
