David Morales, under his The Red Zone Project alias, returns with vocal house stomper, ‘Everybody Get Up’, featuring the soulful cries of fellow New Yorker, Keith Anthony Fluitt.
The video follows the iconic DJ through London’s Ministry Of Sound, recognised as one of his most notable homes away from home. For this latest release he throws down a classic trucking house groove, teasing strings and grooving hat-work, all of which are laced together with saucy backing vocals throughout.
For those of you familiar with The Red Zone Project Vol 1 and Vol 2, ‘Everybody Get Up’ leans a tad more towards Vol 2 — let’s say, classic David Morales. That said, it’s a development all of its own.
‘Everybody Get Up’ is due out on 26th October 2015 with a selection of remixes from DJ Spen & Gary Hudgins, Duce Martinez, Momo Tek and Tedd Patterson.
