Privilege— AKA the largest club on Earth— started 2018 in style last Friday with a typically huge party opening its calendar.
The cavernous main room of the San Rafael venue saw Faithless play a DJ set, with David Morales, Danny Avila, Lovely Laura & Ben Santiago and DJ Oliver all involved. Meanwhile, those in the Vista Club were treated to a special b2b involving Sasha and Kölsch alongside sets from Darius Syrossian, Guti, Nick Curly and Joshua.

Privilege locks Faithless, Sasha, David Morales, more for opening party
Privilege Ibiza has locked in Faithless (DJ set), David Morales, Danny Avila and more artists for its 2018 opening party, which is scheduled for Friday, 25th May.
The opening party also welcomes Darius Syrossian, Nick Curly + Joshua, a live performance from Guti, a special b2b sunrise set from Sasha and Kölsch and others.

David Morales: ‘Ibiza in the ‘90s was all about the music and not about catering for VIPs’
David Morales took ravers back to the early nineties during a recent interview. While reminiscing about his first summers on the White Isle, the New York-house legend made it a point to call out the island’s shifting priorities: “Ibiza in the ‘90s was all about the music and not about catering for VIPs”.
According to Morales, 25 years ago, it was club brands that ultimately drove crowds, not the VIPs nor the artists themselves: “It was more about the brand back in those days. Cream, Manumission, Renaissance, Money Penny's and Ministry of Sound.”
