Ever groundbreaking Dublin label All City are set to reissue the 1983 debut solo album from Irish post-punk pioneer Stano, ‘Content To Write In I Dine Weathercraft’.
Dutch production savant Legowelt has invented his own DIY instrument, which he’s titled the Star Shepherd. The new invention has been made from old guitar pedals, a Casio Keyboard from 1981 and a small AM radio.
Speaking about the Star Shepherd, Legowelt said that it was “very noisy, crackley and sometimes starts doing its own thing like some sentient synthesizer being that is alive. This makes it quite an adventurous experience”.

The late 1980s, early '90s were a halcyon time for music. Free parties, electronic music, protest and what later became known as the “second summer of love” spawned a fresh cultural movement. It was during these early days that a collective of like-minds formed under the banner DiY, and took their place within it.
