IMS Ibiza locks full programme for 2019
IMS Ibiza has confirmed full details of its programme for 2019 including a number of panel discussions and interviews.
More than 20 leading industry figures will discuss what's described as "the mental health crisis in electronic music" in the wake of the deaths of Avicii and Keith Flint. Luciano, Madame Ghandi, Pete Tong and Professor Green will join Avicii's father and founder of the Tim Bergling Foundation Klas Bergling, and representatives of a number of organisations, in a discussion on the matter.
Ultra reveals dates for 2020 festival
Ultra has revealed the dates for 2020's festival, just days after this year's edition reached its conclusion.
The monolithic session will return to Miami on 27th March, running through until 29th March. There has been no confirmation as to whether the action will take place at this year's site, Virginia Key, which was secured after local authorities refused a license for the event's old home, Bayfront Park.

Nicole Moudaber, Adam Beyer, Charlotte de Witte, Luciano, Joseph Capriati and more have been confirmed for IMS Dalt Vila 2019 on Friday 24th May.
The closing celebration of the 12th International Music Summit (IMS) in Ibiza Town will also feature the likes of Ida Engberg, DJ Mag favourite SOPHIE, French electronic producer-cum-composer Agoria and the White Island's own Manu Gonzalez and Anna Tur.
Aphex Twin, Nina Kraviz, SOPHIE, more locked for Coachella 2019
Coachella has shared the full line-up for its 2019 and it looks like there’s going to be a lot for dance music fans to enjoy.
The festival, which takes place at Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, will feature the same enormous line up over its two weekends (12th – 14th and 19th – 21st April).

The nominations for 2019’s Grammys have been revealed, with some exciting prospects getting the nod in the ‘Best Dance/Electronic’ categories.
In the ‘Best Dance Recording’ category the nominees are: Legendary trance trio Above & Beyond’s ‘Northern Soul feat. Richard Bedford’, Disclosure’s return single ‘Ultimatum feat. Fatoumata Diawara’, Fisher’s ubiquitous tech-house cut ‘Losing It’, Silk City & Dua Lipa’s ‘Electricity’ and Porter Robinson’s ‘Ghost Voices’ under his Virtual Self monicker.
Primavera 2019 locks Helena Hauff, SOPHIE, Richie Hawtin, more, highlights “equality, eclecticism and audacity”
Primavera Sound has revealed the enormous line-up for its 2019 edition, taking place from 30th May to June 1st.
Among the whopping 226 acts confirmed to play the hallowed event are some of dance music’s most exciting and celebrated names, including Helena Hauff, SOPHIE, Joy Orbison, Jayda G, Richie Hawtin (Live), Avalon Emerson, Eris Drew, Octo Octa, Anastasia Kristensen (Live) and many more.

SOPHIE announces debut album, ‘Oil Of Every Pearl's Un-Insides’
SOPHIE's debut album has been confirmed. 'Oil Of Every Pearl's Un-Insides' will land next Friday 15th June.
Three of her singles— 'Ponyboy', 'Faceshopping' and 'It's OK To Cry'— arrived last year on Transgressive Records, all of which will appear on the forthcoming long player, carried by the same imprint.
SOPHIE TO RELEASE FOUR NEW TRACKS ON NUMBERS
SOPHIE is to release a new eight-track project on Numbers.
‘Product’ includes the PC Music-affiliated producer’s two previous 12” on Numbers along with four new tracks.
SOPHIE’s last release, ‘Lemonade’, came out in August 2014, since then the producer has been working with Madonna and Le1f.
‘Product’ is due for release on 17th November.
