Special Request has remixed Orbital's 1989 classic 'Chime'.
Titled 'Chime Re-Record (Special Request’s Remix)', the rework was produced to be featured in new documentary 'Better Days: The Story Of UK Rave', about the UK's long-standing rave music history.

Aquarian is sipping tea at home in Berlin. The Canadian is back in Europe after a festive break that included time in his native Toronto, and Brooklyn, where he lived for 10 years until a recent relocation. “The food is much better there,” he laughs, “so it’s nice to really indulge. Field Day returns to the capital on Saturday 11th July, to its new north London home The Drumsheds.

2019 was a big year for both Woolford and Diplo, real name Thomas Wesley Pentz. While the former released no less than four studio albums in the last 12 months, Pentz made history by becoming the first DJ to play a set on top of Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Announced today, Special Request, the hardcore rave alias of Paul Woolford, has remixed two versions of Alkan's 2018 track 'Spectrum'.
The 'Spectrum (Special Request Mixes)' will be released on the 24th January, and includes an acid-infused "Kaleidoscopic Mix", as well as a "Double Vision Mix".
