Last year saw Creamfields host the White Isle's first ever festival and today they announced they’ll be returning to Ibiza this summer.

This time the festival will take place at Space, Ibiza during BBC Radio 1’s Ibiza weekend (Friday 5th August) with 5 rooms hosted by some of the dance music’s biggest names.

Cream has confirmed there will be a Radio 1 dance stage alongside a room hosted by Defected.

Ibiza opening parties have kicked into gear over the last couple of weeks, with Space’s famous season-starter, Circoloco at DC-10, Mosaic by Maceo at Pacha Ibiza, International Music Summit Ibiza and Eden’s opening party all offering an incredible selection of highlights.

A packed roster has seen Maceo Plex, Tale of Us, Kerri Chandler, DVS1, Erick Morillo, Booka Shade, Darius Syrossian, Hector Cuoto, Yousef, Ellen Allien, Agents Of Time and many more kick things into life on the White Isle.

Space Ibiza has unveiled details of their Sundays At Space event, which runs for 16 weeks between 5th June and 25th September.

Space boss Pepe Rosello bows out and hands over the venue’s keys to the Ushuaïa Group for 2017, but before then Sundays At Space will see the likes of 2ManyDJs, Danny Tenaglia, Derrick Carter, Yousef, Deetron, Dennis Ferrer, Guti, Cajmere, John Digweed, Heidi and Tensnake on deck.

Famed Spanish party brand Elrow is back for another round on the White Isle this summer, presenting their new 'elrowCity' night across 17 dates at Space. 

This year they're set to mix-up their usual island formula, with the brand welcoming one DJ all-night long — cue marathon sets from Andrea Oliva, Eats Everything, Groove Armada and more. 

Disco fever will taking over Ibiza once again with Glitterbox returning to Space, Ibiza for the club's final ever season.

Every Friday, Space is transformed into a glittering, hedonistic playground, with extravagant live shows and the finest, most eclectic soundtrack found anywhere on the island.

Richie Hawtin's ENTER. party will not continue at Space Ibiza in 2016.

Hawtin announced the news via his Facebook page earlier today, thanking Space's owners and all the fans who've joined him at the famous night club over the last four seasons. 

In the past, ENTER. has welcomed everyone from Adam Beyer to Eats Everything to Space's dancefloor, offering up five different rooms of audio-visual delights for techno fans from around the globe.

The news, which the DJ revealed exclusively to us in an interview, means that 2016 will surely see the biggest and best season yet, and tickets for the final chapter are going on sale soon.

Space New York is gearing up to host a tech triumvirate on Saturday 24th November — Canada’s very own tech supergroup: Union. Consisting of Carlo Lio, Nathan Baraton and The Junkies, the expert selectors will be jointly spinning a mammoth set from open to close at the Hell's Kitchen club.

Carl Cox has announced that next year will be his last to play at Space Ibiza. Having enjoyed a legendary residency there for 14 consecutive years, he recently explained that he’ll be hanging up his headphones in the mega club in 2016.

Speaking to DJ Mag in a new interview in the run-up to the Top 100 poll, Cox revealed that, “Next year will be my last year at Space Ibiza, so please do not miss a single night if you can, very special line-ups for 15 weeks,” before adding, “Watch this space…”

“Acid house wasn’t a British term to describe the music. Initially, the American producers coined the term and created the music. We embraced the music in the UK and shaped a movement. However, the UK tabloid press believed acid house music to be the work of the devil by sensationalising the biggest thing since punk rock.
