Skrillex has won the Highest Bass award in this year’s DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll. The Los Angeles artist has held his position at No.21 in this year’s poll.
Carl Cox has won the Highest Techno award in this year’s DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll. The legendary UK DJ landed the No.35 spot overall.
“I haven’t stopped since 1988,” Coxy tells DJ Mag. “Can you imagine if I mapped out every single party I’ve ever done, the map would be riddled with pin-drops everywhere - it would be a complete rash of events that I’ve done.”
As you’ve no doubt seen by now, Martin Garrix was unveiled as the world’s No.1 DJ in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs poll last month (October), while in the upper echelons there’s not a great deal of movement — bar a few significant exceptions.
Belgian brothers Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike (the Highest Group) hold steady at No.2, while Hardwell leapfrogs over Armin van Buuren to claim the No.3 slot, despite — or perhaps because of — announcing that he’s stopping touring for an indefinite period.
Claptone has won the Highest House award in this year’s DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll. The masked DJ/producer landed the No. 57 spot overall.
Carl Cox has won the Highest Techno award in this year’s DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll. The British icon landed the No.53 spot overall.

Armin van Buuren has been revealed as the winner of the Highest Trance category at this year’s DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll. Armin came in at No. 4 overall in the annual publicly-voted for poll.
Other winner’s at the 2018 awards include Carl Cox (Highest Techno), Claptone (Highest House), Headhunterz (Highest Hard) and more, with Martin Garrix being crowned the No. 1 DJ for a third time in a row on Saturday night (20th October) as part of the Amsterdam Music Festival.
Martin Garrix has been revealed as the winner of the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs Poll 2018, with the 22-year-old Dutch superstar making it three in a row after becoming the youngest ever No.1 DJ in 2016 and retaining the title in 2017.
Garrix was awarded the winner's trophy by DJ Mag managing director Martin Carvell on stage at the Top 100 DJs Poll award ceremony at the Amsterdam ArenA. The event took place at this year’s Amsterdam Music Festival at Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE).
Voting for Top 100 DJs 2018 closes tomorrow 19th September at 23:59 pm BST.
